Global Education in Catalonia

La sensibilització i l'educació són claus per construir un futur més just i equitatiu per a tothom, estem compromesos amb la promoció dels drets humans a Catalunya.

Sensibilització i Educació: Organitzem tallers, xerrades i campanyes per conscienciar la població catalana sobre la vulneració dels drets humans i promoure una cultura de respecte i justícia.

Incidència Social: Col·laborem amb entitats locals per denunciar les situacions de vulneració de drets humans i influir en les polítiques públiques, treballant per una societat més justa i equitativa.

Projectes Educatius: Desenvolupem materials didàctics i programes educatius per a escoles i comunitats, fomentant el coneixement i la defensa dels drets humans des de edats primerenques.

Education

At Kolam, we firmly believe that education is an essential tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for the future. That is why we dedicate a significant part of our efforts to education, where we develop several projects

Scholarships for Higher Education: Financial support for young people with limited resources so they can continue their higher education.
Schooling for Children and Youth in Situations of Vulnerability in Slums: Providing resources and academic support for children in disadvantaged areas so they can attend school.
Shelter Home: We provide a safe and stable environment for children without families or at risk, offering emotional, educational and nutritional support.

We work to achieve the empowerment of women through literacy and the creation of community support groups.

Agriculture in Rural Areas

In the rural areas of Udaipur, we work to promote sustainable agriculture to improve food security and environmental sustainability for families living in this heavily affected area. Our key initiatives in this area include:

Sustainable Agricultural Techniques: We introduce agricultural practices that minimize the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, and promote crop rotation and efficient water use.
Training and Capacity Building: We provide training to farming families in agricultural techniques, natural resource management, and adaptation to improve their productivity and situation.
